Finding Your Feet

Everyone deserves a second dance

Filled with grand, old British charm Finding Your Feet is a feel-good film about discovering that it’s never too late to start again. When 'Lady' Sandra Abbott (Imelda Staunton) finds out her husband of 40 years (John Sessions) is having an affair with her best friend, she struggles to deal with ‘the shame of her predicament’ and seeks refuge with her estranged, older sister, Bif (Celia Imrie), who lives on an inner-city council estate.

Poster for the British ensemble comedy Finding Your FeetThe two could not be more different. Sandra is middle-class, snobbish and judgemental, and a fish out of water next to her outspoken, serial-dating, free-spirited sibling. But different is just what Sandra needs, and she reluctantly lets Bif drag her along to her community dance class.

In this heart-warming romantic comedy, a colourful group of defiant and energetic golden-agers (including Timothy Spall and Joanna Lumley) show Sandra that retirement is, in fact, only the beginning. Divorce might give her a whole new lease on life…and love.
