Ali Bakhsh, a young Afghan, has come to Iran to work in a henna grinding factory. He has left his wife Shahgol and family behind in Afghanistan in order to earn a living. He grows concerned when it has been some time since he's heard from his wife back home. As invasion becomes more likely in the wake of 9/11, Ali attempts to return to Afghanistan to find his family, before war and chaos make it all but impossible. This simple, yet powerful film follows a desperate man on a journey in the wake of global conflict.
