EUFF - Brooklyn

30th European Union Film Festival Selection from Ireland!

Ireland flagThe European Union Film Festival, organized and curated every year by the Canadian Film Institute, is one of the most popular events on the Ottawa film calendar.

The EUFF features one film from each EU member nation. Most of the films, which are acquired with the assistance of the various embassies of the EU states, will not be available commercially, so this festival is many Ottawa movie fans' only opportunity to see them on the big screen.

For the auspicious occasion of the 30th edition of the EUFF, CFI Director Tom McSorley knew the festival would be more popular than ever, meaning their usual venue would not be up to the task of hosting. That's where the ByTowne comes in. (Or where you come into the ByTowne!)

We're delighted that, for the first time, the EUFF, featuring films from 28 EU member states, will take place at the ByTowne Cinema. Enjoy the films!

Details about Brooklyn, as well as the rest of the festival line-up, are available on CFI/EUFF website.

Brooklyn will begin a regular run at the ByTowne starting on December 11.

Ticket prices for EUFF 2015
General Admission: $13
CFI and ByTowne members: $9
‘Passport’ for 5 films (for CFI members only): $40
