Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon

Come experience — for the first time — award-winning filmmaker Ang Lee’s masterpiece “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” in stunning 4K.

Based on the novel by the same name, “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” became a commercial and critical hit. Directed by Ang Lee (“Brokeback Mountain”, “LIfe of Pi”) and starring Chow Yun-fat (“Hard Boiled”, “Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End”) and Michelle Yeoh (“Everything Everywhere All At Once”, “Tomorrow Never Dies”), it received 10 Academy Award nominations in 2001, the most nominations received by a non-English language film at the time.

Taking place in 19th-century China during the Qing dynasty, a legendary Green Destiny sword is entrusted to a young female warrior, Yu Shu Lien (Michelle Yeoh), to be delivered to the Governor after its previous owner chooses a path of enlightenment instead of bloodshed. However, when the precious sword is stolen by a masked thief, it’s up to Shu Lien to get it back.
