Ottawa Outdoor Film Festival by CPAWS-OV

The inaugural Ottawa Outdoor Film Festival will showcase the power of Canadian cinema at the Bytowne Cinema on November 15th at 5:30pm.

This unforgettable evening celebrates adventure, conservation, and diversity with compelling short films, including Wildflowers (revisiting a historic expedition to Maligne Lake) and Traversées (Passages) (five women crossing Kuururjuaq Park in Quebec). The lineup also features Electric Greg, which follows an athlete’s mission to climb 100 peaks without using fossil fuels.

Beyond entertainment, the festival is a fundraiser, with proceeds supporting the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society, Ottawa Valley Chapter (CPAWS-OV), for their work protecting the National Capital Greenbelt and Gatineau Park.
