A sideshow can be a magical place, serving as a safe haven for its inhabitants. Cleo, the 88th generation of proud bearded women, is part of a family-run exhibit where her mother, Lady Andre, expects her to uphold tradition through sword swallowing. However, when Cleo’s fresh ideas for the sword show are rejected, she feels the urge to leave her talented yet unconventional family in search of love and a new normal without facial hair.
