The Best of Ottawa program showcases audience favourites and award winners from the 2024 Ottawa International Animation Festival (OIAF) short film competition. The screenings offer a sampling of exceptional animated short films that explore moments of humour, profundity, and inspiration.
The works in this collection provide a unique cross-section of some of the best contemporary film artists from around the world.
The OIAF is North America’s largest and longest-running animation event. This year’s Festival takes place from September 25 to 29 at venues throughout the Ottawa downtown core.
Films in the Best of OIAF program will be announced after the OIAF Awards Ceremony on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at the National Arts Centre.
